What hookups are required to use your camper?
At a minimum, electric and water. It is high preferable however to also have a sewer hookup. Onboard storage tanks can only go around 3 days before they will be full, and have to emptied.
What is Boondocking?
Boondocking is using a camper completely off grid, with only onboard water and generator power. We do not allow for boondocking in this unit. You must be heading for a campground, park, or other established facility.
So would you allow us to tow it ourselves?
We do not allow others to tow the camper on their own. There is an issue in the RV rental industry now with severe damage and some injuries due to people trying to tow trailers with equipment that is not adequate, and lack of experience in towing something this large. The pro here is that we have set it setup for you, so that you just to show up and enjoy your vacation!
How large is the trailer? The campground has size limits.
Our unit is rated at 21.5 feet from front to back. Its is slightly more than 9 feet in height.
How many people can really sleep in the unit?
Officially its rated at up to 5. There is one queen bed, two bunks (bunk sizing is 31x72 inches), and the dinette can convert to sleeper if needed. 4 is best, but 5 can be done, especially with a child. We provide bedding for the number of people listed for you trip. (Up to 5)
Are we allowed to being our pets?
Even though we are pet owners and animal lovers ourselves no animals are allowed in the camper. Should in become apparent later that a pet was staying in the camper the security deposit would be forfeited.
How far do you deliver?
We will go as far as 150 miles out for delivery, though keep in mind that delivery charges are set by distance and location. So far for 2021 we have been as far North as Chincoteague Island and as far South as Hatteras, NC. We always provide a detailed quote with all charges before signing a contract.
So, what does the delivery and setup include? Do you just leave it there for us?
Its completely inclusive. We bring it to your site, level the camper, engage all of the stablizers, connect water, electric, and sewer. We have already filled and verified the propane tanks and the holding tanks are cleaned and treated, ready for us. The camper has been sanitized and fitted with freshly washed and dried sheets, and supplies have been restocked. It is ready to go, other than loading your personal items, and your food and drink. It truly is a cabin on wheels!
